Attorney Sarah M. Allen is an Associate at the law firm of Taylor, Ganson & Perrin, LLP. Ms. Allen specializes in a range of estate planning matters, including simple will planning, complex trust planning, special needs planning, estate tax planning, will contests, trust/trustee disputes, probate of wills, estate administration, guardianships, and prenuptial agreements.
Prior to joining Taylor, Ganson & Perrin, LLP, Ms. Allen was an Associate and Head of the Estate Planning Department at Clark, Hunt & Embry, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Additionally, Ms. Allen has a background in insurance defense litigation, having worked at The Law Offices of Kaufmann & Durant, an in-house law firm of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
Ms. Allen graduated summa cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Ms. Allen received her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. While attending Boston University, she served as Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology Law.
Ms. Allen currently serves as a member of the Women's Initiative Committee for the Boston Estate Planning Council. Ms. Allen is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association.
